ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND YOUR NEFF DISHWASHER

When it comes to cleanliness and hygiene, many people still operate under the mistaken notion that the more you use, the better the results – all too often to the detriment of the environment

Today, however, the technologies being developed for dishwashers are becoming more and more sustainable, significantly reducing their water and energy consumption and allowing you to concentrate on what you most enjoy about your kitchen: delicious cooking. By familiarising yourself with and understanding the new energy label you’ll be able to discover which are the most energy efficient appliances for you to consider.

THE DISHWASHER ENERGY EFFICIENCY LABEL

  1. Supplier’s name or trademark and model identifier
  2. Energy efficiency class
  3. Annual energy consumption in kWh (based on 280 standard cleaning cycles per year)
  4. Water consumption in litres per year (based on 280 standard cleaning cycles per year)

TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE VARIETY OF PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE

It’s always best to run your dishwasher with a full load, but sometimes you’ll have to do it when it’s half full. In this case, simply press the Half Load button if you have it. This special function reduces water and energy consumption as well as the duration of the cycle.
